Champion racehorse Life Is Good and his owners, Winstar Farm and China Horse Club, headlined the list of winners at the 2023 Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Horseracing Excellence Awards in Dubai on Saturday night.

China Horse Club's Eden Harrington and Morgan Harries represented the partnership when collecting the Best Owner Award and Best Horse Award among the eight categories recognized at a ceremony held at Meydan Racecourse during the Dubai Racing Club's 'Super Saturday' programme.

USA PROGRAMME STARS ON THE WORLD STAGE WITH $1.8M & 1.3M COLTS

At the end of book one of the world’s premier yearling sale China Horse Club was in rare air. Offering yearlings from only its fifth year of operations as a breeder in the United States, its boutique programme stamped itself as world class when realizing the two highest price colts on Day 2 of 2022 Keeneland September, the second highest price overall and closing the book with an average of USD912,000 for the five yearlings it sold.

CHC Support Britain's National Horseracing Museum

China Horse Club’s Teo Ah Khing moved with poise and purpose to support Britain’s National Horseracing Museum (NHRM) at Monday’s Goffs London Sale. The bronze maquette of ‘Mare and Foal with Her Majesty The Queen’ was auctioned to raise funds to support the iconic institution to which the monarch is patron.

In the year of Her Majesty’s Jubilee, the opportunity to support an institution whose work preserves the history of thoroughbred racing for current and future generations resonated. The contribution follows a similar gesture of support at last month’s Inglis Chairman’s Sale.

Life Is Good Once Again

Life Is Good’s status as the world’s best dirt horse was reaffirmed in imperious fashion as he made his long-awaited return on U.S. soil following his tilt at the USD12 million Dubai World Cup.

The China Horse Club and WinStar Farm owned entire was using Saturday’s USD250,000 Nerud Stakes (1400m) as a stepping stone towards the time honoured USD1,200,000 G1 Whitney Stakes (1800m) on 6th August, a summer championship in its own right and a proven litmus test ahead of the end of season USD6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.
