CHC wins Australian, NSW and Victorian Horse of the Year awards

China Horse Club make history as the first owners in Australian racing to win NSW, Victorian and Australian Horse of the Year Awards in the same season. Star filly First Seal is crowned the NSW Racehorse of the Year and Dissident, jointly owned by Newgate Farm and partners, is annointed Victorian Horse of the Year and later Australian Horse of the Year.

Acquisition of The Chase

The diversification of TAK Group of Companies intensified with the securing of The Chase, a showpiece estate in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia. The Chase was secured to not only be a destination to host members and guests of the China Horse Club and associated companies, it was secured to be an agistment property for racehorses that are part of the China Horse Club's portfolio and external parties; agistment for the Club's maiden infoal mares and selected yearling sales preparation.

Australia wins Epsom Derby, the world's most famous race

Champion colt 'Australia' wins the Epsom Derby and the news immediately spreads across China. He wins the G1 Irish Derby and G1 Juddmonte International in his two subsequent starts before being crowned the 2014 Co-World Champion 3YO at the Longines IFHA World's Best Racehorse Awards. Australia currently stands at stud at Coolmore, Ireland.

TAK wins Best International Leisure Architecture (London, UK)

In a glittering ceremony in London, Teo A. Khing Design Consultants were recognized for the fourth successive year at a major architectural award ceremony. TAK won the Best International Leisure Architecture for its masterplan of the 'CHC Clubhouse', a feature of the Tianjin Equine Cultural City (TECC) Masterplan. The CHC Clubhouse was selected by a panel of 70 judges. It had previously been recognized at the Asian Pacific Property Awards.
